We strive to be understanding and available to the families we are privileged to serve. We believe that the best medical care comes from a lifelong partnership between our patients, their families and their physician.
A vital part of our service to children begins with our staff; we work hard to maintain a professional, caring and supportive environment for our patients. Our pediatricians are highly trained professionals and maintain the highest level of accreditation in pediatrics to address the special needs of infants, children, teens and young adults. We have different styles and personalities, but we share a common medical philosophy. We are lifelong learners. We prioritize ongoing medical education and participate in quality improvement projects to stay abreast of the latest in child health care. Our pediatricians are members of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Los Angeles Pediatrics Society, and the Los Angeles County Medical Association, in addition to being founding members of the Children's Hospital Los Angeles Health Network.
We function as a team. You can see any of the physicians and can change between them if you like, though we encourage continuity with your preferred doctor as much as possible. We look forward to forming a lasting relationship with you and your family!

Who We Are
Richard Feuille, MD, FAAP was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, the second of seven children. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in 1981. After working for three years as an attending physician in the Pediatric Emergency Department at CHLA, he co-founded Glendale Pediatrics in 1988. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Los Angeles Pediatric Society.
Dr. Feuille is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Keck USC School of Medicine. He, along with the other doctors at Glendale Pediatrics, teaches medical students and residents from USC and Children's Hospital Los Angeles, where he has historically served as an attending physician. Dr. Feuille also teaches the Family Practice residents at Adventist Health Glendale. He has a particular interest in accident prevention, sports medicine, colic, asthma. Dr. Feuille has served as chair of the Pediatrics Department at USC-Verdugo Hills Hospital and Glendale Memorial Hospital. He is the current Chair of the Pediatrics Department at Adventist Health Glendale and serves as Co-Chair of the Quality & Care Transformation Committee of the CHLA Network. He volunteers at the Providence Tattoo Removal Clinic and has been a Director of Glendale Healthy Kids.
Dr. Feuille is married to Jane Larson Feuille. They have three daughters: Joyce, Elizabeth and Margaret. He particularly enjoys participating in triathlons, as well as cycling and running.
Jennifer A. Hartstein, MD
Jennifer Hartstein, MD, FAAP grew up in Indiana and Southern California. She received her BS in Biology from Pepperdine University, where she received the Outstanding Graduating Student in Biology award. She went on to receive her Medical Degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she graduated with honors. While in medical school, she was elected to be a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society and was granted the Janet Glasgow Award for Excellence in Academics. She completed her Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in 2002, and joined Glendale Pediatrics immediately thereafter. Dr. Hartstein is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the Los Angeles Pediatric Society.
Dr. Hartstein enjoys teaching medical students and residents from USC and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She has served as the Chief of the Pediatrics Department at Verdugo Hills Hospital. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Quality & Care Transformation Committee of the CHLA Network and previously served as the Chair of the CHLA Network Clinical Pathways subcommittee.
She loves working with children, adolescents and families and has a particular interest in helping her patients feel cared for and comfortable in the medical setting. She enjoys getting to know her patients and providing individualized care as they grow from infants to young adults.
Dr. Hartstein is married to Robert Hartstein, who works in the hospitality industry. They have two sons, a daughter and two dogs. They live in South Pasadena and spend most of their time keeping up with their kids and watching a lot of soccer. In her rare free time, Dr. Hartstein loves hiking, the outdoors, diverse cuisines, travel and photography.
James C. Henry, MD
James Henry, MD, FAAP, grew up in Pasadena, California. He attended Saint Francis High School in La Canada Flintridge. He received his BA in History from the University of California at Berkeley. He went on to receive his Medical Degree from the University of California at Irvine. He completed his Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in 2001. Dr. Henry joined Glendale Pediatrics in 2003. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Los Angeles Pediatric Society. Dr. Henry currently serves on the Board of the CHLA Network.
Dr. Henry is married to Dr. Nicole Herzog, whom he met in residency training. She is also a skilled pediatrician. They have two amazing kids who keep them very busy. In his off time, Dr. Henry likes to care for his family and sleep as much as possible.
Bradley M. Bursch, MD
Bradley Bursch, MD, FAAP grew up in Northern California and received his BS in Physiology from the University of California at Davis where he competed for the track and field team. He went on to receive his Medical Degree from New York Medical College. While in medical school, he was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and served as chapter president. He completed his Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in 2004 and was selected to serve an extra year as Chief Resident. Dr. Bursch joined Glendale Pediatrics in 2005. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Los Angeles Pediatric Society.
Dr. Bursch continues to teach the pediatric residents at CHLA, the family practice residents at Glendale Adventist Medical Center and medical students from the University of Southern California. He has a particular interest in medical ethics, resident education, gastroesophageal reflux disease, food sensitivities and sports medicine. Dr. Bursch has also made medical humanitarian trips to Mexico and Haiti. He currently serves on the Finance Committee of the CHLA Network.
Dr. Bursch is married to Allison Bursch who grew up in Pasadena and is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Married since 2004, they have two children and reside in Glendale. Dr. Bursch enjoys playing with his children, relaxing with his wife and kids and grilling for his family and friends.
Nicole A. Fabris-Carral, MD
Nicole Fabris-Carral, MD, FAAP was born outside of Chicago but has spent most of her life in Glendale. She attended Glenoaks Elementary, Wilson Junior High and Glendale High Schools. During high school, she volunteered in the maternity ward at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, and now she enjoys returning there as a pediatrician.
Dr. Fabris-Carral attended UC Berkeley where she studied Biology and Spanish. After graduating, she spent one-year teaching science at Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, California. She then went on to New York Medical College, graduating in 2004. After four years of beautiful seasons (but cold weather), she was pleased to return back to Los Angeles for training. She completed her residency at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles in 2007. Dr. Fabris-Carral joined Glendale Pediatrics in 2007. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Los Angeles Pediatric Society.
Dr. Fabris-Carral enjoys working in the community that she grew up in. She speaks her native Croatian language and knows Spanish fluently as well. Her interests include meeting people of all cultures. She likes teaching medical students and residents (and showing them why she loves pediatrics). Dr. Fabris-Carral currently serves on the Network Committee of the CHLA Network.
Dr. Fabris-Carral is married. Their two daughters keep them busy and always laughing. As a family, they enjoy listening to music (and dancing), traveling and being outdoors. Dr. Fabris-Carral thanks her girls for teaching her how to be a better pediatrician.
Sujata P. Iyer, MD
Sujata Iyer, MD, FAAP, ABLM grew up in Mumbai, India. She received her MBBS degree and completed her internship at Seth G.S. Medical College, Mumbai, where she graduated with honors. She completed her pediatric residency at B.J. Wadia hospital for Children in Mumbai. She then completed her second residency in pediatrics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After working in both Southern California and Seattle, Washington, she returned back to Southern California. Dr. Iyer joined Glendale Pediatrics in 2010. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Los Angeles Pediatric Society. Dr. Iyer speaks several Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Marathi and Gujarati.
Dr. Iyer is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Lifestyle medicine is a medical specialty that uses therapeutic lifestyle changes to treat and prevent chronic diseases with an enhanced focus on foundational health habits from an early age, promoting whole, minimally-processed plant-forward nutrition, adequate sleep, regular physical activity, stress management, positive social connections and avoidance of risky substances (the six pillars of lifestyle medicine) to promote overall well-being.
Dr. Iyer enjoys forming bonds with patients and their families. She gives importance to patient education and the preventive aspect of pediatrics.
Dr. Iyer is married to Prashant Chandran who works as a portfolio manager. They have two sons. She enjoys time with her family, travel and reading.
Amelia Fan, MD
Amelia Murti Fan, MD, FAAP was born and raised just outside Albany, NY. She attended the University of Southern California and received her BS in Biomedical Engineering. She then moved back east to receive her medical degree from New York Medical College. She completed her internship and residency at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in 2009 and has since decided to remain in southern California. She has worked as a hospitalist at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and joined Glendale Pediatrics in 2012. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Los Angeles Pediatric Society.
Dr. Fan enjoys forming lasting relationships with her patients.
Dr. Fan is married to Nathan Fan, who is a forensic accountant for a Litigation Consulting Firm. Together they have three sons and two Pomeranians, which make for a very noisy household.
Vivian Lam Saavedra, MD, FAAP grew up in Bellflower, CA. She attended UCLA and received her BS in Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics as well as a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology, where she had the pleasure of interning at the Infant Development Center, a childcare center located on campus. After graduating, she spent one year as a 3rd grade teacher’s assistant at a local elementary school prior to starting medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She returned home to complete her internship and residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in 2020. Dr. Saavedra joined Glendale Pediatrics in 2020. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Saavedra enjoys forming lasting relationships with her patients and seeing them grow up happy and healthy. Her medical interests include preventive medicine, sports medicine and gastrointestinal disease.
Dr. Saavedra is married to Jonathan Saavedra, who works as a high school math teacher. They have two beautiful children and two cats who keep them very busy. Their interests include traveling and learning about other cultures, entertaining and spending as much time outdoors with their family and friends.
Jin Heur, MD was born in Seoul, South Korea, but grew up in Southern California. She attended UC Riverside for undergraduate school, completing a BS degree in Biomedical Sciences, and she then went on to UCLA School of Medicine to receive her medical degree in 1999. It was at UCLA that she fell in love with general and outpatient Pediatrics. Because her husband was completing his MD-PhD degree at University of Cincinnati at the time, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, to start her internship and residency at Children's Hospital of Cincinnati. After graduating from residency in 2002, she worked in the outpatient clinic at the Children's Hospital for a few years. Her husband's residency took them to Cleveland, OH, where she had the opportunity to work in the Emergency Department of Rainbow Babies Children's Hospital of Cleveland. Then, in a delightful turn of events, her husband landed a fellowship at USC Eye institute, bringing the family back to Southern California.
Dr. Heur started working with Glendale Pediatrics in 2012, regularly covering for physician vacations and days off. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics. She is especially grateful to be able to use her abilities and talents in a meaningful way to help kids who come to our office.
Tiana Meyer, MD, FAAP, DABOM, grew up in Phoenix, AZ. She graduated from University of Colorado Boulder, where she received undergraduate degrees in Integrative Physiology and Psychology and Neuroscience. She then attended medical school at University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, where she was recognized for her compassionate care, as a recipient of the Gold Humanism Honor Society Award.
Dr. Meyer completed her internship and residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and was selected to serve as one of three Chief Residents, an additional year in a leadership and teaching role for the residency program. She joined Glendale Pediatrics in 2023.
Dr. Meyer is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has completed additional post-residency training and is also Board Certified in Obesity Medicine, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Meyer enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pup. She loves to be outdoors, run, hike and travel.
Dr. Meyer finds great inspiration in caring for children and adolescents. It is her privilege to be able to partner with patients and their families to provide holistic and individualized care.
Elizabeth "Libbey" Van Dyke, MD, FAAP grew up on Bainbridge Island, Washington. She grew up around lots of children, as the second oldest of five siblings and the second oldest of 24 first cousins. She attended University of Notre Dame where she received a degree in Biological Studies and Peace Studies. Dr. Van Dyke then attended Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, where she received a Gold Humanism Society Award and spent a year conducting research in the Dominican Republic. She completed pediatric internship and residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and after graduating in 2019 continued on as a general pediatrician at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Van Dyke is fluent in Spanish and has a strong interest in mental and behavioral health. She pursued additional training through the UC Irvine Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship in 2023. Dr. Van Dyke is inspired by the unique story of each child and enjoys supporting families to build joyful, strong, resilient relationships.
Dr. Van Dyke is married to Allen, who grew up in Augusta, Georgia and works as a classical musician. They welcomed their son in 2023 and Dr. Van Dyke has learned a lot about pediatrics through the wonderful and challenging adventure of parenthood. Their family enjoys walking their dog Hank, hiking, travelling and live music. Dr. Van Dyke is honored to be able to participate in the care of the patients and families of Glendale Pediatrics.
