Happy Autumn to all our patients and their families.
Flu Season is just around the corner! We already have our Flu Vaccine in stock for children age 6 months and older. Following the CDC recommendations again this year, we will only have the injectable vaccine in stock. Intranasal Flu vaccine will not be available again for the 2017-2018 season.
Please call NOW to schedule your Flu vaccine appointment. We have Saturday appointments for Flu vaccine available in October and November. Please call our office to schedule an appointment.
Good news! We are now OPEN TO NEW PATIENTS of all ages. If you have been wanting to transfer to our office, now is the time to call. Call our office during regular business hours to schedule your new patient appointment. Please note that we only take PPO insurance. We look forward to meeting you soon.

When should a child be introduced to peanuts?
Early! Please refer to this informative webpage from CHLA about introducing peanuts. New studies show it is better to introduce peanuts and other nuts early.
Our Office Vaccine Policy
After considerable discussion amongst the physicians of Glendale Pediatrics, we have made the decision to require our eligible patients to receive two vaccinations: DTaP and MMR. We did not come to this decision lightly. While we have close bonds with our patients, we also have a responsibility to protect every single person who walks through our door from vaccine-preventable diseases. This especially includes those who cannot be vaccinated due to young age or complex medical conditions. These patients rely on us to provide the safest possible environment for their medical care, and we must do everything possible to ensure that standard.
We understand that this policy may generate questions. Our physicians are well-equipped to discuss any questions that you may have, so please feel free to ask them.
What if I need a refill of a prescription?
If you need a medication refilled, please call your pharmacy first to request a refill. They will contact us directly even if you are out of refills. Please give us at least 2 business days for regular medication refills. We can now electronically and directly submit regular medication refills to your pharmacy.
The exception to this is for triplicate medication refills. Please call the office to request a triplicate medication refill and give us at least 5 business days. Triplicate refills must be picked up directly from our office. Please note that we do not refill prescriptions after office hours.
